Obituary for Donald S. Frieman

Donald S. "Don" Frieman, surrounded by his loving family, passed peacefully on November 18, 2017. He was born in Hot Springs, VA on Aug. 15, 1934, to the late David and Mary Madeline (nee McGrath) Frieman. Devoted husband of Rosemarie for 60 love-filled years and a day. Donald was a veteran of the United States Army, trained at the Army Language School in Monterey, CA, and stationed in Okinawa as a Russian translator intercept in the late 1950s. He worked for Philadelphia Electric Co. for 41 years, spending the last 20 years of the career he loved, managing the Real Estate department.

Loving father of Stephen (Barbara) Frieman, David (Helga) Frieman, Lauren Bryson, and Robert (Monica) Frieman. Loving grandfather of Ashley and Courtney Bryson (Howard/ Lauren), Kelly and Stephanie Frieman (David/ Lisa), Cole and Milla Frieman (Rob), and Julianna and Angelina Frieman (Stephen). Survived by his brother James, and sisters Arlene, Susan, and half sister Mary. Devoted brother of the late Frances Hewton.

All are invited to a visitation from 10-11am and a service at 11am on Fri. Nov. 24, both at the Heritage Chapel at George Washington Memorial Park, 80 Stenton Ave. Plymouth Meeting, PA 19462. Interment at the cemetery to follow.
