Evelyn, 93, of Norristown passed away on Sep. 30, 2016. She faithfully loved and served many, and was dearly loved by all. She was born in Frackville, PA on July 27, 1923 to the late Daniel and Sarah Louise (Harp) Hartenstine. She spent 51 years of marriage as the devoted wife of the late Rev. Irvin Raymond Lindemuth, who passed away in 1993. He was the former pastor of Faith U.C.C., in Philadelphia. She was also preceded in death by son Richard Lindemuth; sister Viola Rosser; and brothers Herbert and Harold Hartenstine. She was an active member of Ascension U.C.C. and 33 year resident of Jefferson Apartments where she served several terms as president and member of the resident’s council. After raising 4 children she spent 10 years as a bank teller at Meridian Bank.

She is survived by her children Irvin R. Lindemuth Jr., and wife Elisabeth of Tucson, AZ, Sally Ann Lindemuth and wife Carol of Quakertown, and Dale Donald Lindemuth and wife Janet of Spring, TX; 6 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren; and many other loving family and friends.

All are invited to a memorial service at Ascension U.C.C., 1700 W. Main St, Norristown, PA 19403 on Tuesday, Oct. 4 at 10:00am with a reception in the church social room immediately following.
